2023 Annual Meeting

Come and enjoy the park, learn about the coalition, and take a short walk in the park.

Walk at 5:00 P.M.

We will stroll from the refectory in the center of the park to Memorial Grove, the Cities World War I Memorial and the Massachusetts Vietnam War Memorial. Wear comfy shoes. We will not take a walk if it is raining.

Meet at 6:00 P.M.

We will have the meeting in the refectory in the center of the park (see photo below). Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Park Spirit's Board of Directors will meet for their 2nd of three Board meetings. All are welcome to join the Board as it reviews its summer and fall outlook and provides updates on several long-term projects.

Meeting topics will include:

  • Vote/Welcome new Board Members
  • Updated bylaws to facilitate the Elm Park Conservancy
  • Summer Programming Strategy
  • East-West Trail sign installation project/grant

Working for Worcester Build Day

Park Spirit & its member organization the Friends of Newton Hill at Elm Park are excited to have been selected as a Working for Worcester 2018 Build Day Site!

Volunteers for the city-wide volunteer day will join Park Spirit/FNH Volunteers to remove scrub/undergrowth from the summit of Newton Hill and the wooded area below the parking lot at Salisbury Park (Bancroft Tower).
